Here are some frequently asked questions. Actually since the site just opened no one has asked these questions yet? But I'm going to try to answer some before they become some. Did that just make sense?
Q: What is Anime?
A: Basically Japanese animated films or TV shows. After WWII the Japanese film industry was very strapped for cash and the only live action movies they could produce was stuff like Godzilla. So the film industry decided to cut cost by animated their films which really cut cost. Anime is easily recognized by being Japanese, featuring characters with larger eyes and small lips, and having indepth characters and plotlines. I think that's adequate for a short answer.
Q:What is Manga?
A:Their cheaply made black and white comics, but they are drawn very very well. All most every Anime started as a Manga and usually the artwork in the manga is alot better than in the Animes where many shortcuts are used. Mangas also tend to be more graphic and contain much more story and character development. Many things get cut to make up for time in an Anime. For example Sony cut out the last saga of Rurouni Kenshin because their crappy filler episodes was hurting the ratings. But that last saga was really important.....
Q:What is All American Anime Studios?
A: What I call my website where I post all my mangas. Those these originate in America they aren't really mangas. Their just some drawings a fanboy did in the cliche anime style.
Q:What is All American Anime?
A: Its a comic strip that I started for a project in art class and have decided to continue it on the internet. Its basically a parody of many popular animes. It mainly references Cowboy Bebop, Dragon Ball Z, Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin, and Tenchi Muyo the most. It stars CAM, his best friend Gabe, Gabe's ex-girlfriend Alys, and her best friend Shera who is a Japanese exchange student. I update it every Monday, Wensday, and Friday.
Q: What is The Black Wolves?
A: Its a fantasy manga that I update whenever I have a chapter ready. It takes place in the fantasy world of Aaragoth similier to Tolkien's Middle Earth and Gemstone's Elanthia. I'm not really giving out much of the plot, but its very similiar to Diablo 2's plot which was unintentional since I came up with my plot first. But I have no proof alas....
It stars a half-elf named Faerinn, a mage named Saberwolv, a healer named Shonison, and a sorceress named Raelynn.
Q: What is The Spoony Bard?
A: My crappy filler comic that only takes me an hour to make and I put it up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its usually my voice for random hilarity from anything medium I feel like since I can't do that with AAA since it has a plot and all. For some reason I lean towards using the Black Wolves characters in this strip.
Q: What is the Cosplay Wars?
A: Is a saturday morning Squaresoft Doujinshi. Its something from my fanfic series which should be posted soon and several round robin fanfics. A millionaire offers a hefty reward for the capture of the seven huge references. The two rivals CAM and Almasy pitch themselves against each other for the prize.
Q: Will you post my artwork, stories, website, etc?
A: Not to sound egotistical but probably not. If it doesn't directly relate to my works I can't post it, Keenspace rules. Though I will link to sites that I really, really like. If your looking for a site that accepts fan submission try RockeT CanyoN or Rocket Town.
